Daryl N. Snadon 

President, Beltway Development Co , Chairman, Beltway Commercial Real Estate

Daryl N. Snadon was born May 31, 1945 in Greenfield, Missouri.  He graduated from high school in Missouri.  In 1963, he moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado to attend the Air Force Academy Preparatory School where he was an Arts Major.  He then attended the University of Missouri at Columbia from 1964 to 1968 where he obtained a degree in Economics and Accounting and continued at the University of Missouri Law School through 1971 for a Juris Doctorate.  In 1972, he attended the Southern Methodist University Law School in Dallas, Texas doing post-doctoral work on an advanced tax degree.

Daryl was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force Reserve.  

Daryl is the owner of Beltway Development Company and Beltway Commercial Real Estate. Daryl is a Founding Partner and Director of Emergent Construction Technologies, an industrial and commercial construction company.  He was also a founder of Beltway Construction, Inc./Construction Management Technology, Inc., a major design/build international construction firm.  Among other business ventures, Daryl is the co-founder of Chamberlain's Prime Chop House, a four star restaurant in Addison (which in the first year of operations was named one of the "Best New Restaurants in America"; by Bon Appetit Magazine), Chamberlain's Fish Market and a founding investor in 1-800-FLOWERS.

Daryl is past President of the Addison Business Association and past President of the MetroCrest Chamber of Commerce serving the cities of Addison, Carrollton, Farmers Branch and Coppell. 

Mark. A. Sommer, CCIM, CPM

President & Chief Operating Officer 

Mark A. Sommer was born September 12, 1957 in Dallas, Texas.  In 1981, he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. He continued at the University of North Texas and obtained a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate in 1983.  Since that time, Mark has completed real estate courses through the Southern Methodist University Costa Institute, Commercial Investment Real Estate Council, and the Institute of Real Estate Management.  Mark is also a graduate of Leadership Richardson, which is dedicated to the development of community leaders.

Mark joined Beltway in 1982 and is a partner in a substantial portion of Beltway’s portfolio.  His responsibilities and activities include the acquisition and development of commercial real estate investments for Beltway’s long-term ownership, overseeing the leasing and management of all Beltway properties, and providing services to Beltway clients.  Mark is a founding partner and Director of Emergent Construction Technologies, an industrial and commercial construction company.  Mark was a founding partner in Chamberlain’s Steak and Chop House in Addison, Texas, (named in its first year of operations as one of the “Best New Restaurants in America” by Bon Appetit Magazine), and was a founding partner in numerous other business ventures.

Mark is a member of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Council, Institute of Real Estate Management, and the Greater Dallas Association of Realtors.  Mark has achieved the professional designations of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Certified Property Manager (CPM) and is licensed in the state of Texas as a Real Estate Broker.

Susan D. Rogers, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Susan joined Beltway in 2014.  She has twenty-five years experience in both publicly-traded and privately-held companies.  Prior to joining Beltway, Susan spent five years as the Chief Financial Officer/Controller for Evolv Health, LLC (a multi-national direct seller of health and wellness products launched in 2009).  In addition, Susan held roles of Chief Financial Officer/Controller for the law firm, Strasburger & Price, and Marlin Atlantis White, a developer of residential real estate properties).  She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a BBA in Accounting and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Texas.

Tracy L. White, CPM

Vice President, Property Management

Tracy L. White was born October 17, 1971 in Brookings, South Dakota.  She spent most of her childhood in Grapeland, Texas, and then relocated to Ft. Wayne, Indiana where she graduated from Carroll High School.  She attended Butler University for a year and transferred to Purdue University at Indianapolis where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.  She has a Master of Science in Human Relations and Business from Amberton University.

Prior to joining Beltway Development in July 1997, Tracy worked for Pinnacle Realty as an assistant property manager for their commercial real estate division.

Tracy is married and has two children.  She is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management and has received the professional designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM).

Tracy is primarily responsible for managing the operations of Beltway properties including the supervision of Beltway’s on-site management staff, service providers and construction contractors.

Cole W. Snadon

Vice President

Cole W. Snadon was born on April 23, 1974 in Dallas, Texas.  In 1997, he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.  After working one and one-half years with Beltway as a retail leasing agent and property manager, he continued his studies at Southern Methodist University and in 2002 obtained a Juris Doctorate.  Since that time, Cole has continued his career at Beltway as Vice President, primarily overseeing its retail and restaurant assets.

Prior to joining Beltway in January 1998, Cole worked on various construction projects with Construction Management Technology, a major design/build international commercial construction firm.  His current responsibilities and activities include the acquisition and development of commercial real estate investments for Beltway’s future long-term ownership, overseeing the development, leasing and management of all currently-owned Beltway retail properties, and providing services to Beltway clients.

Cole is a member of the Texas Board of Realtors and North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors.  He is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the state of Texas.

Deborah Borum

Director of Richardson Office Leasing

Deborah Borum is Beltway’s Director of Richardson Office Leasing, responsible for the leasing and marketing of Campbell Forum I, II and III, University Plaza, and Creekview Corporate Center I and II.

Prior to joining Beltway in June 2004, Deborah worked for Harwood International for 10 years. As Vice President, Leasing, she leased office properties in Dallas, Richardson and Plano.

Deborah is a member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, the Texas Real Estate Commission and Commercial Real Estate Women. She holds a Real Estate Salesperson license in the state of Texas.
